Assassin’s Greed

Usually single player games that aren’t RPGs don’t get much play time once they are initially finished. The only real single player experiences that get extra playing time go to games that just have so much to do (GTA) and then, there are the games that are just so great you want to destroy the game by playing it for hundreds of hours. Assassin’s Creed is a game of the latter. This game is just absolutely incredible. I originally gave it a 9.1, but I did later lower the score to an 8.7, because of the framerate. Nonetheless, it’s amazing how a game that is so undeniably shallow and repetitive take up so much of my time. I’ve beaten it over 4 times, and I’m on my fifth go through right now. I actually have it paused on my Ps3 next to the computer. The visuals, minus the framerate, are simply gorgeous, and even though I know the story like the back of my hand, is still a treat to watch unfold. Most of its reviews have not been so good. It’s currently got an average of 7.9, and has been called a disappointment, but I completely disagree, and Assassin’s Creed is one of the most influential games of the century thus far.

Pretty good so far.

Well it’s been awhile since my last post. Time to update you with what’s going on.

– there will be no Xbox 360 guy for now, I can manage things on my own.

– Devil May Cry 4 (9.3) and Dark Sector (8.1) were both kick ass. Kane and Lynch was pretty good. (7.4)

– For a while, with the exception of GTA, my next few reviews will be Wii exclusive. It’s about time. Expect to see some Mario Galaxy, Metroid, Zelda, No More Heroes, and maybe some Resident Evil. I’m going to stay off the High Powered consoles for awhile. Of course, GTA, Haze, and MGS 4 will all be a heavy focus for me. I’m just saying that there won’t be anymore games like Kane and Lynch or Lair for a long time.

– Leave some comments, I’m trying to get a bit of a cult following on Frames.

– Email me at bayernmunich6597@hotmail.com for any help with anything; I know everything.

– Thanks for the support. I’ve finally gotten over 1000 hits on the site, perhaps in the future I’ll launch a full site, if the success can be raised. For now, I’m happy with the way things are going. It’s a hobby right now. I’ll see what will happen in the future

– Guitar Hero III and GT 5 Prologue might get reviews on here soon, but if not, expect some of the Wii titles I mentioned.

– Please continue to support the site if you have already. My reviews are top notch. =)

So, I haven’t been able to hide the fact that I’ve been running FramesPerSecond all by myself. And, since I don’t even have an Xbox 360, things have been going very slowly. But, I’ve been looking for a 360 guy, whom I can trust, and if I do manage to convince him to join my in insanely amateur gamer’s blog, then things could really pick up. He’s not as talented as I am, but he should be able to dish out at least half the crap that I’ve been able to. And, if things work out, then I could stop referring to FramesPerSecond as I, and start calling it “We”. And, he’s not an asshole like Hilary Goldstein over at IGN. He’s such a fag. Cheers.

So, after about a month of doing FramesPerSecond, I’ve finally gotten my own blog where I can post my own thoughts less formally than on FramesPerSecond. Expect a lot more swearing and biased thoughts.
